Q2 in Review: Growth, People, and Standards
As we close the first half of 2024, we want to take a moment to reflect on a strong second quarter. Our renewal rate sits at 96%, and we’ve on-boarded 14 new clients across the retail, logistics, and public sector verticals.
Officer Wellbeing Programme
At Vigilant, we believe that the wellbeing of our workforce is directly linked to the quality of service we deliver. This quarter we launched the Vigilant Wellbeing Hub — an internal platform giving all staff access to:
- Mental health support and confidential counselling
- Financial wellbeing tools and debt guidance
- Physical health assessments and gym subsidies
- A peer-recognition scheme celebrating everyday excellence
Over 200 officers have already signed up in the first two weeks.
SIA Licensing Update
The Security Industry Authority has announced updated training requirements for door supervisors and CCTV operators, effective January 2025. Vigilant is ahead of the curve — our in-house training centre has already updated its curriculum, and all affected staff will complete the new modules before the deadline.
If you have questions about how the new SIA standards affect your site contracts, please speak with your dedicated account manager.
Infrastructure Projects
Our technical team completed a full CCTV upgrade at a major logistics hub in the East Midlands this quarter — replacing legacy analogue cameras with 4K IP units linked to our AI-assisted monitoring platform. Incident detection time has dropped by an estimated 40%.
Thank you for reading. We’ll see you in July with even more updates from across the business.
