Vigilant Security Services — Who We Are

Founded in 2014, Vigilant Security Services has grown from a small London-based team to one of the UK’s most trusted independent security providers. With over 400 professionals deployed across England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, we protect businesses, public spaces, and critical infrastructure around the clock.

Our Core Service Areas

Manned Guarding

Our manned guarding division forms the backbone of Vigilant’s operations. We deploy SIA-licensed officers who are:

• Trained to Level 2 Award in Door Supervision and/or Security Guarding
• Vetted to BS 7858 screening standards
• Equipped with body-worn cameras and real-time reporting tools
• Supported by 24hr control room supervision

Sectors served include retail, logistics, healthcare, education, and commercial real estate.

Mobile Patrols

Where constant on-site presence is not required, our 40-vehicle mobile patrol fleet provides regular check-ins, lock/unlock services, and rapid-response coverage across:

• Yorkshire & Humber
• London and the South East
• West Midlands
• South West England
• Northern Ireland (new for 2025)

CCTV Monitoring

Our 24hr control centre monitors live feeds from client sites using AI-assisted detection software. Response times average under 90 seconds from alert to officer notification.

Event Security

From corporate hospitality to outdoor festivals, Vigilant has the experience and scale to handle events of all sizes. Our event security model includes advance risk assessment, crowd management, and post-event reporting.

Infrastructure Management (New for 2025)

This year, Vigilant formally launched its Infrastructure Management division, complementing our core security services with:

• Facilities management support (access control, visitor management)
• Preventative maintenance coordination
• Emergency response coordination for critical infrastructure sites

This new division reflects our belief that security and infrastructure management are inseparable disciplines in the modern built environment.
